In Memory of Marcos Mada

With deep sorrow, we report the passing of Marcos Mada, which occurred on Sunday, January 14.

Marcos played a pivotal role in the avocado industry, contributing significantly to the success of various companies over the years. His dedication and leadership at Del Monte were exemplary, marking a milestone by positioning the company as one of the most prominent in the United States market.

For many years, Marcos served as Vice President of the Global Avocado Program at Del Monte, cementing his legacy as a pioneer in the industry. He later brought his expertise and passion to other organizations, including Walmart and Coast Produce Company.

His impact and contributions will endure in the avocado industry, and we will remember Marcos as a visionary leader and a source of inspiration to all of us who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Our thoughts and condolences are with your family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Rest in peace Marcos, farewell friend.
