DG Fresh Avocados promotes sustainability and expansion in the global avocado market

Adapting to international demand and the challenges of climate change, DG Fresh Avocados is strengthening its presence in the US, Europe and Asia with sustainable strategies and a consistent supply.

The global avocado market continues to expand, driven by the trend toward healthy eating. In this context, DG Fresh Avocados has solidified its presence in key markets such as the United States, Europe, and Asia. Jorge Hernández, the company's sales manager, highlights DG Fresh's ability to meet growing demand through a vertically integrated supply chain. "Our harvest in Jalisco ensures a reliable and continuous supply for our customers, which is essential to maintaining our competitiveness," Hernández explains.

To address the challenges of climate change, DG Fresh Avocados has implemented fertigation technologies and climate monitoring systems in its orchards, maximizing efficiency and reducing costs. "In addition to protecting our land, these efforts allow us to maintain avocado quality, even in the face of climate variations. We also participate in reforestation projects, which strengthens our commitment to long-term sustainability," adds Hernández.

With an eye toward stable growth, the company has adjusted its production volumes and plans to diversify its offerings. "Our focus is not only on increasing our global presence, but also on responding to market needs with complementary, high-value products. DG Fresh's international certifications, such as USDA, Global GAP, and SMETA, strengthen our position in an increasingly competitive market," concludes Hernández.
