Colombia increases its exports and targets Europe

There is more Colombian avocado fruit on the international market. At the close of week 42, the country shipped 185 containers to various destinations, 36% more than in week 41. The main target market is Europe, which receives 90% of the avocados. The remainder goes to the United States.

It is expected that, in the coming weeks, Colombian exporters will contribute 200 containers per week, which is a fairly high number for that country.

In the Avonews section, there is a detailed analysis by Avobook CEO Sebastián de la Cuadra on the current state of avocado exports from Chile and Colombia.
