China continues to lower prices for avocados of sizes 18 to 24

This week, 25 containers of avocados arrived from Peru and Chile. 72% of them were Chilean fruit. Although the total volume is 19% higher than last week, a comparison with the same period last year still shows that the market is receiving less fruit this year. This week's volume is 34% lower than week 46 of 2023. Market share is projected to remain very similar in the coming weeks.

Regarding prices, this is the second consecutive week that sizes 18 to 24 have decreased. In this case, they have fallen by 18% compared to last week.
