China reflects a sustained drop in shipments and declining prices

The Chinese market continues to show a downward trend in avocado shipments from Chile. This week, 21 containers arrived, compared to 29 the previous week, marking a steady decline since week 51 of last year. This weekly decrease reflects a contraction in the volume shipped by Chile to this market.

Regarding prices, compared to fruit from Peru, sizes 18 to 24 saw an 18% decrease. Furthermore, when comparing current prices to those of the same week last year, a significant drop of 38% is observed, indicating a substantial decline.
