China receives 45 containers of avocados with Peruvian dominance in the market

During this week, China received a total of 45 containers of avocados, of which 93% came from Peru, while the remaining 7% corresponded to shipments from Chile.

The volume of shipments to the Chinese market remains stable, averaging close to 50 containers per week. Peru's share continues to grow, consolidating its presence in the region.

Regarding prices, Peruvian avocados have seen a 3% increase compared to the same period last year. However, prices were considerably higher in 2023. Historically, prices have shown a gradual decline for three to four weeks starting around week 7, so this trend may continue this year.
