China receives 32 shipments, a 35% drop compared to the previous week

Week 8 in China records 32 shipments, 35% less than the previous week, with Chile contributing 84% of the total volume.

The Chinese market recorded a total of 32 shipments in week 8, representing a 35% decrease compared to the previous week. Despite the weekly decline, the volume remains at levels similar to those observed in the same week last year, standing 3% above that figure.

The supply remains concentrated in Chile, which contributed 84% of shipments during the week, while Peru accounted for the remaining 16%. Comparatively, shipments from Chile increased, while those from Peru decreased, a trend typically associated with the intermittent nature of Peruvian shipments to this destination.

In terms of prices, the market showed stability, remaining at levels virtually identical to those of the previous week. However, when compared to the same week last year, current values are below the trend recorded during that period.
