China shows the lowest weekly prices in the last 3 years for large sizes

This week, 22 shipments of avocados arrived in China. This market increasingly belongs to Chilean exporters, whose share has reached 73%, with Peru accounting for the remaining 27%.

Although, in total volume, China shows a decrease of 18% compared to last week, in comparison with the same week in 2023 it is equivalent to a growth of 15 points.

An interesting piece of data is shown in the prices of the larger gauges (18 to 24), which have been decreasing for two weeks. These are slight drops, not exceeding 7%, but they show a lower trend than those observed for these same gauges in week 40 between 2021 and 2023.

Remember that the details of each figure and the weekly evolution of the movements of the world avocado market in all markets and origins can be found in the Avobook Premium Report of Week 40.
