China maintains stable volume, but prices remain below last year's levels despite a strong weekly rebound.

In a week without major disruptions, China maintains a stable position in the international avocado market. With 77 containers arriving from Peru, the Asian giant registered a 15% increase compared to the previous week, and 26% above the same period last year. While these figures are not spectacular, they confirm a steady trend, fluctuating around 100 containers per week, which indicates a consolidation in the pace of imports.

Where a significant movement was felt was on the price front. This week, sizes 18 to 24 saw a notable surge, rising 58%, a sign of either renewed demand or reduced supply in that size range. However, despite this jump, prices remain 15% lower than at the same time last year.
