China increases avocado imports and improves prices compared to 2024

During week 26, the Chinese avocado market received a total of 120 containers from Peru, marking the highest volume recorded in the last month. While a direct comparison with the previous week is not significant, the figure is noteworthy considering it represents a 90% increase compared to the same week last year.

Regarding price behavior, the average value this week was 6% higher than that recorded in the same week of 2024, marking the first time since week 14 that the 2025 price has exceeded that of the previous year. However, compared to the immediately preceding week, a slight decrease of 3% is observed.
