China lowers prices for large and medium calibers

This week, China continues to receive relatively low total volumes of avocados, with figures very similar to recent weeks. However, between weeks 42 and 43, a 24% decrease was recorded in a market primarily divided between Peru and Chile.

In the case of Peruvian avocados, it is known that these are the latest shipments arriving in China. Even so, they represent 69% of the market, followed by Chile (31%).

That proportion will change, with Chile taking first place, given Peru's withdrawal. Regarding prices, the most interesting phenomenon is the 15% drop in prices for large and medium sizes (18 to 24).
