China: Avocados exceed expectations with growing volumes

Week 50 ended with a favorable outlook for the Chinese avocado market. With the arrival of 32 containers from Peru and Chile, the country maintained its upward trend in imports. Chile led the shipments with 63% of the total, consolidating its position as one of the main suppliers this season.

Although weekly volumes at this time of year typically do not exceed 40 containers, the current pace has defied expectations. In fact, weekly shipments are projected to reach 50 containers by the end of the year, marking a significant increase compared to previous periods.

This increase in imports also reflects a more dynamic market than last year.
