Chilean exports at the close of week 4

Chile records 177 exports and a year-on-year increase of 34%

Exports rose 26% weekly and 34% year-on-year. Europe accounts for 45% of the destination, followed by Latin America with 33% and Asia with 22%.

Chilean exports totaled 177 shipments, representing a 26% increase compared to the previous week and a 34% increase compared to the same period last year. Europe led the way in terms of destination, accounting for 45% of the volume, followed by Latin America with 33% and Asia with 22%.

This behavior is part of a trend observed since the end of last year, characterized by weekly variations in export volumes, with alternating increases and decreases, and no sustained trend. A similar pattern was also recorded last season and is expected to continue in the coming weeks.

In week 5, Chile maintained a market share of approximately 9% in Europe and concentrated all of its exports in China. In contrast, no shipments were recorded to the United States, a market that ceased to be among the active destinations during the analyzed period.
