Chile maintains more than 200 weekly shipments and adjusts the distribution of destinations

Chilean exports closed week 50 with a stable volume, although with clear signs of adjustment in the distribution of destinations. During the period, 202 shipments left Chile, representing a slight increase of 1% compared to the previous week and a 6% increase compared to the same week last year. With this result, the weekly volume remains above 200 containers, despite a less linear trend observed since week 47, marked by consecutive increases and decreases.

In terms of destinations, Europe remains the main market, although its share has decreased and fallen below the 50% threshold it had consistently maintained. In the week analyzed, it accounted for 45% of shipments, while Latin America gained prominence, reaching 37%. Asia represents 14%, and the United States maintains a marginal presence, close to 5%.

Heading into week 51, Chile accounts for 20% of exports to Europe, along with other origins, while China continues to maintain a dominant presence week after week. In contrast, the US market remains relatively insignificant for Chilean shipments, a situation mirrored by most other origins besides Mexico.
