Avocado Africa 2025 promotes the internationalization of avocados from Africa

From May 27 to 30, 2025, the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi, Kenya, will host the fifth edition of the International Avocado Congress, Avocado Africa 2025. The event, which has established itself as the most important in the sector on the continent, is organized by the Avocado Society of Kenya (ASOK) in collaboration with regional and international partners, and will bring together key players in the global avocado industry.

With the motto “Avocado Africa: a convergence of technology and business to increase competitiveness and trade”, the congress will focus on boosting the development of the entire avocado value chain through knowledge exchange, the adoption of new technologies and market expansion.

For four days, attendees will be able to participate in keynote lectures with international experts, networking events, trade exhibitions, specialized seminars and technical visits to avocado plantations in Kenya.

The thematic areas of the congress include sustainable production, productivity, food safety, plant protection, industrialization, the supply chain, genetic resources, and the importance of avocados in health, nutrition, and gastronomy.

Avocado Africa 2025 will feature leading brands in the sector, including REEMOON, Vitone Eco, Maf Roda, CMA CGM, Amenduni, MHE, Safta, Naoura, Hiking Drev, Unitec, SFE, and Avocado Nurseries, among others.
