Ecuador will bring together the regional industry at the 5th International Avocado Congress

Quito will host the 5th International Avocado Congress 2026, a technical and commercial meeting that will bring together experts from the sector to promote innovation and sustainability.

From March 25 to 27, 2026, Quito will be the meeting point for the avocado industry with the 5th International Avocado Congress, an event that has established itself as one of the leading technical and commercial platforms for the sector in Latin America. The event will take place at the Eurobuilding Hotel and will bring together producers, exporters, researchers, government officials, suppliers, and international specialists involved in the avocado value chain.

Throughout its previous editions, the congress has solidified its role as a forum for analysis and collaboration within a growing industry, addressing key issues such as production innovation, plant health, sustainability, and market opportunities. These gatherings have contributed to strengthening the avocado as a strategic crop, both for its economic impact and its social and productive potential in the region.

The program for the 5th International Avocado Congress will take place over three days and will include keynote addresses, technical panels, networking opportunities, and a specialized trade show. This format aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and access to solutions, supplies, and technologies geared towards improving the sector's competitiveness in Ecuador and other Latin American markets.

The organizers, GlobalForum, emphasize that this fifth edition aims to strengthen the connection between production, industry, academia and international markets, with a focus on the sustainable development of the sector.

In this edition, Avobook will participate as a media partner of the V International Avocado Congress, reaffirming its commitment to the dissemination of strategic information, market analysis and the generation of content that contributes to a better understanding of the avocado business at a regional and international level.

The event is geared towards producers, exporters, technicians, and professionals interested in the avocado industry. Registration is open until March 24th and includes participation in the academic conference, a field trip, or both.
