The European avocado market maintained its growth trend in week 14, reaching a total of 1,111 shipments. This figure represents a 4% increase compared to the previous week and a significant 30% increase over the same period in 2025, consolidating sustained expansion on the continent.

Avocado export and import to Europe

Regarding market share, Peru continues to lead as the main supplier, accounting for 39% of the total volume. Spain follows with 23%, while Colombia and Israel each hold 9%. Further behind, South Africa reaches 8% and Brazil 6%, the latter showing an upward trend in recent weeks. Kenya contributes 3%, while Chile and Mexico maintain shares close to 2%, with less relevance at this stage.

The most significant variations are observed in the evolution of some origins. Brazil registers growth of nearly 40% compared to the previous week, while Peru also shows a significant increase of 22%. In contrast, Israel presents a drop of 37% and Mexico a decrease of 22%, reflecting adjustments in the supply from these countries.

In terms of prices, the market in Rotterdam shows differences depending on the size. Larger sizes, such as size 14, show an improvement of around 7%, while smaller sizes register drops of around 8%. The most notable case is size 26, which shows a decrease of up to 11%, indicating greater pressure on intermediate sizes.

In this way, Europe continues to expand its import volume, with a market that is increasingly diversified in terms of origins and with a value that is beginning to differentiate according to the size of the fruit.
