PERU ANALYSIS
Peru leads the avocado market in Europe with 39%
Peru reaches 811 shipments (-2% weekly, +17% year-on-year). Europe accounts for 77% of the volume and maintains its leadership with a 39% market share.
Peruvian exports maintained a high level of activity in week 13, with a total of 811 shipments registered. While this figure represents a slight decrease of 2% compared to the previous week, it remains 17% higher than the same period last year, confirming a season with higher export volumes.

The distribution of shipments reflects a strong concentration in Europe, which absorbs 77% of total exports. Chile follows with 11%, then Asia with 9%, while other markets account for approximately 3%. This configuration is partly due to the decrease in shipments to China during the week, after a previous period of high volumes destined for that market.
In contrast, greater dynamism is observed in other Asian destinations, such as Japan and Korea, which are beginning to increase their share within the Peruvian export flow, partially compensating for the drop in China.
Already in week 14, Peru reaffirms its position in the European market, reaching a 39% share and consolidating itself as the main supplier of the continent for several consecutive weeks.
In this way, Peru continues to lead the supply to Europe, in a context marked by adjustments in Asian destinations and a redistribution of export flows according to market conditions.
