During the second half of October, the main destinations for avocados reflected adjustments in volumes and prices, marking a month-end with mixed signals depending on the market.

In Europe, imports fell 35% to 653 containers, although the volume remains 26% above the year-on-year level. Chile leads with a 29% share, followed by Peru (21%) and Colombia (15%), while prices in Rotterdam show slight decreases in most sizes.
China maintains a positive dynamic compared to last year, despite a weekly decrease of 19%, registering 17 containers between Peru (59%) and Chile (41%), with stable prices and higher than those of 2023.
At the source, Peru confirms the final stage of its campaign with only 12 containers per week, while Chile consolidates its leading role with 472 shipments, two-thirds of which are destined for Europe, remaining well above the 2024 volume.
