Colombia increases its revenues to the US by 40%, while California and Peru reduce volumes.
In the United States, week 32 closed with 1,558 shipments, representing a 16% increase compared to the previous week and 6% more than in the same period of 2024. Mexico accounted for two-thirds of the market, followed by Peru with 19%, California with 9%, and Colombia with 6%. Mexico increased its volume by 30%, while California and Peru saw reductions of approximately 10%, and Colombia experienced a 40% increase. Size 60 saw a 10% price decrease, sizes 70 and 84 remained stable, and variations in larger sizes and size 48 did not exceed 3%.
In Europe, week 33 saw 929 containers shipped, a decrease of less than 1% compared to the previous week and 4% higher than last year. Peru maintained its 81% market share, followed by Kenya and Tanzania with 8%, Colombia with 7%, and South Africa with 4%. In Rotterdam, size 18 increased by 17%, size 24 by 6%, and smaller sizes by 10%. In Spain, prices remained stable.
In China, week 33 saw 54 shipments, a 10% decrease from the previous week but still above 2024 levels. Sizes 18 to 24 fell 34% in price, remaining 59% below last year's levels.
From Peru, week 32 totaled 932 shipments, with a 6% drop compared to the previous week and a 48% increase compared to 2024. Europe received 60% of these shipments, the United States 16%, Chile 12%, Asia 9% and other destinations close to 3%.
