Avobook Report Preview W33-2024

In Spain, prices for medium and large avocados are rising for the first time in 5 weeks

According to the Avobook Week 33 Report, the downward trend in avocado prices in Spain has reversed, with a rebound in medium and large sizes. In the United States, supply continues to grow slightly (4%), with Mexico leading the market thanks to its new harvest, while Peru and Colombia are decreasing their presence.

In Europe, avocado volumes have increased, although they are still lower than the same week last year, with prices improving in the port area of Algeciras after five weeks of declines. That's the most significant news in the Report, where you can find details about this increase.

In China, although shipments have grown by 20%, the market remains stagnant and exports to Europe are prioritized due to better opportunities, in a scenario where Peru has less production than the previous season.
