Avocado volume falls in Europe and Mexico recovers in the United States

In the United States, Mexico has increased its shipments by 9%, while Peru maintains its 25% market share. In Europe, avocado shipments have decreased by 10% compared to the previous week, with 90% of the fruit coming from Peru. However, Chile is beginning to send its first containers, which will help offset some of the decline in Peruvian shipments. In China, the total volume of avocados is decreasing, with Peru as the main supplier, but with the first shipments expected to arrive from Chile in about a month, and Mexico's entry into the market anticipated. In Chile, local fruit is replacing imports, which have decreased by 25% and come exclusively from Peru.
