Avobook Report Preview W29-2024

Europe grows and China declines when comparing volumes from week 29 of 2023 and 2024

There are many noteworthy facts in the Avobook W 29 Report. One of them is from Europe, where avocado volume has increased by 23% compared to the same week in 2023. Interestingly, this hasn't caused the price to fall.

A different situation is that shown by China, where arrivals from the almost exclusive supplier (Peru) have decreased by more than half, when comparing week 29 of 2023 and 2024.

In the United States, Mexico holds 40% of the market, with California maintaining 28%, and Peru remaining strong (24%), in a market with slightly lower prices than last week across all sizes.
