Mexico leads strongly while small calibers rebound in the US

The avocado market continues to show signs of adjustment in week 18. In the United States, imports reached 1,591 shipments, 20% more than the previous week, with Mexico and California as the main suppliers. Meanwhile, prices show notable declines in large and medium sizes, especially size 60, with a drop of 13%. Europe maintains high volumes, with more than 1,000 containers for the fourth consecutive week, dominated by Peru.

In China, although volume remains stable, prices have rebounded by up to 58% for medium sizes, although they are still below last year's levels.
