Avobook Report Preview W13-2025

Peru gains prominence in Europe and Asia as smaller sizes rise in price in major markets

During week 13, international avocado trade reflected seasonal variations and strategic decisions by producing countries.

In the United States, shipments increased compared to the previous week, with Mexico and California leading the way, while prices fell slightly for medium sizes and rose for small sizes. Europe received more volume, with Peru standing out as the leading supplier, and with price increases in markets such as Rotterdam.

In China, market growth continues, fueled almost exclusively by Peruvian supply and rising prices. Meanwhile, Peru has significantly increased its exports, though it faces weather challenges that could concentrate the harvest and impact prices in the coming months.
