Avobook Report Preview W10-2025

Mexico significantly reduces its shipments to the US, while Colombia doubles them.

The global avocado market continues to show significant variations in volumes, prices, and geographical distribution.

In the United States, import volumes remain stable compared to the previous week, with Mexico as the main supplier, although its market share has decreased slightly, offset by increased shipments from Colombia. Meanwhile, in Europe, supply has increased by 5% in the last week, with Israel and Spain leading the way, while Chile's share has halved.

China, for its part, has registered a significant reduction in its import volume, although a recovery is expected in the coming weeks. In Chile, exports have shown a gradual but not abrupt decline, with a greater presence in Latin America and the United States. Finally, Peru has experienced a notable increase in its shipments, with 77% more than the previous week, maintaining Europe as its main destination.
