Avobook Report Preview W07-2025

Drop in shipments from Mexico and rise in prices in the US.

The global avocado market showed significant fluctuations in week 6 of 2025, with a notable reduction in export volumes to the United States and stability in Europe and Asia. Mexico led shipments to the US market with an 85% share, although it registered a 40% drop, while Colombia and California also reduced their supply. Despite this, prices in the US remained high, reaching record levels for Mexico.

In Europe, Israel was the main supplier, with a 37% increase in its exports, while Morocco's share fell by 62%. As for China, Peru dominated the market with 93% of shipments, although prices showed a slight downward trend.
