Avobook Premium Report 2024 w27

The United States is recovering, and lower volume in Europe is being offset by good prices.

The Avobook W 27 report reveals a significant recovery in the North American market, with Mexico regaining its dominant position with a 40% share, followed by California with 35%.

Peru has increased its weekly shipments to 10.5 million pounds, consolidating its presence in North America, with 17% of the market.

This country's avocados continue to lead in Europe, with a 75% market share, while their almost exclusive presence in China remained stable, but could face a gradual decline.

Regarding prices, an upward trend is observed in several markets, especially in Europe and Asia, driven by the reduction in Peruvian fruit volumes.

In Spain, good prices are expected to continue for the next few months, while in China, shortages have led to proportional increases in all sizes of avocados.
