Mexico with 70%: projects total market control

Mexico

Last week, the harvest destined for the United States was 23,285 tons , of which 22,409 were exported, representing a utilization of 96% .

This week, 39,543 hectares are reported as available , practically the same level as the previous week.

Market growth in July was 3% , while the field price is 25% below last season.

Last week's market distribution was as follows:

  • Mexico: 70%

  • Peru: 15%

  • California: 14%

  • Other: 1%

Conditions remain very challenging due to price levels, although I believe the market can improve along the supply chain. Mexico, meanwhile, is poised to dominate virtually the entire market.

I wish you all a wonderful week.
