Mexico reaches 91% of the market
Mexico
Last week's harvest was the strongest of the season: it reached 32,000 tons, of which 29,945 were exported, with a utilization rate of 94%.
This week a slightly smaller number is expected to be harvested, around 30,000 tons, with an approximate export of 26,000.
The hectares available this week are almost 39,000, 5% more than last week.
The price remains at historically low levels, down 7% compared to the same date last season.
Mexico's market share reached 91% last week. California has 5% and Peru 4%.
The volume from now until the end of the year will be significant week by week, and Mexico will be practically the only supplier in the market.
I wish you all a wonderful week.
