Colombian exports are concentrated in the US, but Europe is gaining ground.

This week we observed that Colombia's exports are 60% going to the North American market and 40% to Europe, with a trend of increasing volumes to Europe week by week, according to data provided by the main exporters to Corpohass.

Farmgate prices remain stable, with slight upward increases but very similar to the previous week. Size distribution continues at 25% small, 50% medium, and 25% large, with a noticeable improvement in the latter two categories.

Likewise, this year a pattern has been observed in which the mid-season fruit has initially ripened ahead of the main crop, and it appears that the same phenomenon will occur in the next stage, where the main crop will ripen earlier and coincide with the end of the mid-season harvest.

Some sources indicate that volumes will begin to decline in the coming days, until week 28.
