Avocados in abundance: Will balance be achieved?

Mexico

Last week, 33,278 tons were harvested, of which 28,041 tons were exported, representing an 84% utilization rate. So far this season, the total harvest has reached 909,000 tons, with 708,000 tons exported.

This week's harvest is estimated at around 37,000 tons, which remains a record pace of weekly shipments. The abundant supply of fruit will continue throughout the season, and in June and July, we will have black and apricot fruit available from the new harvest.

Although prices haven't been the most favorable this season, market consumption has increased significantly. It's a long-term investment, and hopefully, with the arrival of California products, prices will improve somewhat.

I wish you all a wonderful week.
